Support Center Body Metrics+
Welcome to the Body Metrics+ Support Center. We're here to help you get the most out of your body measurement tracking experience.
Getting Started
How do I add my first measurement?
Tap the "+" button on the Measurements tab, enter your measurements, and save. You can track arm, shoulder, chest, waist, hips, thigh, and calf measurements.
Can I set goals for my measurements?
Yes! Goals are available to all users. You can create goals for any measurement type and set whether you want to increase or decrease that measurement. Goals help you track your progress over time.
How do I view my progress?
Navigate to the Analytics tab to see detailed insights, trends, and body composition metrics. The Charts tab provides visual representations of your measurement history.
Premium Features
What features are included in Premium?
Premium includes: unlimited measurement entries, advanced analytics and AI insights, progress photos, custom metrics, Apple Health integration, data export/import, measurement reminders, and an ad-free experience.
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Tap the Premium button in Settings or when you encounter a premium feature. You'll see subscription options and can choose the plan that works best for you.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. You'll continue to have access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Data & Privacy
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We don't collect or transmit your personal measurement data. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
Can I export my data?
Yes! Premium users can export their data as CSV or JSON files from the Settings > Data Management section. This allows you to backup your data or use it in other applications.
Can I import data from another device?
Premium users can import previously exported CSV or JSON files. This is useful when switching devices or restoring from a backup.
Apple Health Integration
How does Apple Health sync work?
Premium users can sync measurements with Apple Health. Your measurements are automatically written to Apple Health when you add or update them. You can also import weight, height, and body fat percentage from Apple Health.
Why can't I see my age in Analytics?
Age is calculated from your date of birth in Apple Health. If you haven't set your date of birth in the Health app, you can enter your age manually in the Analytics view.
Troubleshooting
The app crashes or freezes
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, restart your device. If problems continue, please contact support with details about when the issue occurs.
I can't see my measurements
Make sure you're on the correct tab. Check the Measurements tab for your entry list, or the Charts tab for visual representations. If you're a free user, remember there's a limit of 6 entries.
Apple Health sync isn't working
Ensure you've granted HealthKit permissions in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health. Also verify that you have Premium subscription active, as HealthKit sync is a premium feature.
I'm seeing ads but I have Premium
Try restoring your purchases in Settings. If you're still seeing ads, ensure your subscription is active and the app has refreshed your premium status. You may need to restart the app.
Tips & Best Practices

- Use progress photos: Visual documentation helps track changes over time
- Set realistic goals: Gradual progress is more sustainable than rapid changes
- Review trends regularly: The Analytics tab helps identify patterns in your progress
